Keep your silver from tarnishing.: A great tip for preventing sterling silver tarnish is to store jewelry in an airtight container or ziplock bag along with a small piece of aluminum foil. The aluminum foil attracts the toxins that make silver tarnish.

Keeping jewelry away from light and air is also helpful in slowing down the tarnish process.
