My cousin Chris is in Iraq.

He has been over there since January and we now have his address to send him things.
I am going to burn him a cd and the kids are making him some cards.
He is the one I told you about whose baby was very sick.
CJ, the baby is doing much better.
I have no idea what else can be sent.
Anyone out there military who knows what they can have?
His mom said he likes junk food, so what can I send through the mail that won't spoil or go rotten.
I can't afford to send a huge box or anything but a few small things I can do.

I remember Chris before he was even born.
I went with my Aunt Rosalie and her husband Tim to the state fair in Maine while she was pregnant with him.
I used to help her take care of him when he was a baby and then I played with him and his little brother Sean and sister Mandy.
It's hard for me to believe that he is all grown up, married, has a baby of his own and is now off in another country.
Kind of scary.
Scary that he is over there and scary that I am old enough to have a cousin who is all grown up and fighting a war.
