Permissions
Your pretty brave letting anyone into your cp to edit and delete things. there must be a way to set some permissions for users that can post like this. in Greymatter I can set you as an author with no editing rights,
all it takes is one idiot to ruin your blog for ya.

Well, actually, the only thing a guest author can edit is othet guest authors entries. They have zero access to templates etc. None. :)

I would love to fix that for you but I am a twit who doesn't know how to fix that. :) It's annoying yes, but in the big scheme of things, it's as annoying as an itch on a gnats ass. :)
Don't take offense. This is just how I talk to pretty much everyone. I'll see if Jenni, who built the template knows how to fix it later on. Thanks. :)

Sorry, Danimal -- it's holding my info fine in the comments. The code's okay, too. Are your cookies on?
Posted by: Jenni | February 20, 2004 6:33 PM
It's not holding mine either.

Nope. hrm. Oh well.
Posted by: kat | February 20, 2004 6:37 PM
Okay, I'm checking it now. Should be a few minutes before I find the culprit.

No problem. I am making dinner. It's only slightly annoying but if you click in the space, your name pops up, and you just click it. I'm easy. :)
I get this error at the status bar
line 64
char 5
HOST is unidentified
Code 0
Don't know what that means.

Ah, it's a browser issue. That makes sense -- it's working for certain versions of certain browsers. Thanks for the error code, it will help. It's a tiny error and it's one of those that might take a minute (or more) to pin down. :) I'll fix it, no probs. If I can't, I have a techie friend who can set it straight.

I may not know how to fix things, but I am damn good at finding the problems...lmao ;)
