Ragu sauce sucks.
Ragú really sucks. I hate it but it's all I had in the cupboard.
I had to add sugar, garlic, basil, oregano and a whole slew of other spices to it to make it even taste like something other than tomato soup.
The kids ate it and noticed the difference too.
Yuck.

Ravioli in a can is even worse! I had some about two days ago and I could not believe how tasteless it was!

You know what is cheap and much better than Raw Goo? Hunt's spaghetti sauce in the can. Not the little 8 ounce *tomato sauce*...they make big cans of different flavors of spaghetti sauce.
This is not the best, but, as I said, it's cheap and more flavorful. I still prefer to make my own, but I sometimes use Hunt's when I'm being lazy.

What is terrible is the "Meat in" spaghetti sauce. I had to try it once...and I have to say it was repulsive...I would rather brown my own meat for it...OIY!

I actually prefer Prego but all I had in the house was this jar of Ragu. I swear, it's just soup labeled sauce. I like to make my own in the summertime when verggies are cheaper to buy at the store.

I don't like Ragu tomato sauces. They taste yucky. The Ragu cheese sauces are pretty good though.

the weired thing is that Ragu is 100% natural - who'd have thought it?
It might be thin but the kids eat it and that's one serving of veggies I've gotten into them - so it's okay by me
