I swear it, I never touched anything.
I have owned this pc for 4 years and not once has that stupid annoying windows password logon script ever come up. Until today.
All day.
I didn't change any settings or anything, it just started. IE stopped recalling usernames and passwords.
It took me all frigging night to get it to stop doing that shit after trying every single thing I could think of and tricks that I found while surfing google.
I found the answer here,Computing.Net - windows me startup.
What a fucking pain in the ass.
Maybe the pc is dying.
No, don't say that.
It's just a windows glitch.
*fingers crossed*

I am sure it's just a windows glitch...am glad I don't use ME anymore.
One time all my windows settings went all funky when I downloaded a windows update from the microsoft site.
*crossing fingers with you*

Well, there are no updates anymore so that ain't it. I think the kids fucked around with it because as soon as I said what the hell is this password shit, they ran out of the room with the standard, I didn't do it line. Both of them. I have been sick and they have been playing Neopets and stuff and doing all kinds of funky shit. Who knows what they touched.

I know how you feel! My sons have their own computer but prefer to use mine since it's connected to a cable modem and not as SLOW as their netzero free dialup. After they get on here doing searches for game cheats, playing games at cartoonnetwork, and neopets, my stuff sometimes gets all funky...that may be where a lot of my spyware and stuff comes from. But I have gotten into the habit of scanning adaware and the virus scanner as soon as they are done. I'll be totally lost once they get into my windows settings, though....

Oh I know it. It runs so slow after they are on those sites. I have to run my spyware stuff when they are done too. It usually picks up about 30-40 different things.
