My right contact lens just popped out.
This made me have to go clean it and put it back in.
It's kind of a good thing that happened.
I haven't taken these ones out or cleaned them in months and it was starting to twitch.
I am such a thrifty person that I can make one month contact lenses last anywhere from 3-4 months each thus saving me at least $200 a year.
Ha!
All eye professionals please understand, it's not that I don't like you, it's that I cannot afford to see you but once a year.

Smart woman! Those can get really expensive. I don't wear them, but my husband does, and he always needs them when we're broke, lol.

This way, I honestly can make six pairs last me 2 years. My eye doctor hates me but I never have the money when I need them.

Well if doing that doesn't mess with your eyes.. then more power to you.
Love the skins, switched to LOTR, for now.

I use the daily-wear, and they last 2 years, but still see the eye doc once a year. My insurance either covers eye glasses or contacts once a year so I switch off. Has worked out pretty well.
Hope you have a great, lazy Sunday! *hugs*

I do the same thing ... my contacts last FOREVER .. of course I wear my glasses a lot too - so that helps.

It's not too bad on my eyes. When they start to get itchy or dry out, I jsut change them. :)

I usually go once a year when i can afford it but it has been about 2 years now. Oh well. When I get some money again I'll go.

I broke my glasses one night in a fit of rage. I threw them. Ooops.
