The gods are angry.
My air conditioner just got struck by lightening.
Huge storms in the area ![]()
and my air conditioner gets struck by lightening.
Fuck.
The whole house flickered and then the whole house filled up with smoke and the money sucker howled and screamed and died a most horrible death.
I ran and shut it off and we ran outside to see a giant poof of smoke in the yard.
Cars stopped, people stared.
Luckily, every other electronic in the house is on surge protectors.
Scary and exciting.

We're all ok but the money sucker is dead. This could be good because now he'll have to get me a newer model at least. I swear this ones been here since like 1972.

Thank Goddess everyone's all right. Sheesh.

Glad you all are alright and nothing in the house caught the lightening.
Hope he replaces the AC quickly.
It has been raining and storming here almost all month. I lost half my shingles Friday afternoon, during a storm with very strong winds, damage seems to be only in my neighborhood though.... have 2 tarps on the roof and it just keeps raining!!! Arghhhh

Glad to hear everyone is ok. That's scary! And I'm so happy it's not you who has to replace the AC - I was worried about that. *HUGS*

If I had to replace the AC, we'd be sweating the rest of our summer out Kirsi. :)
