Marks birthday is next week but I went ahead and gave him the present he asked for early.
He asked for Dynasty Warriors 4 XL and he loves it.
He first started playing Dynasty Warriors as a demo game we had and then he started playing them all and this is the one he wanted.
You can load saved game data from DW4 into the XL so you can change their hair, armour etc.
Some of the features are:

‡ New Xtreme gameplay mode pits you against random skirmishes for as long as it takes
‡ New Legends mode with 42 stages
‡ Arena Challenge permits one-on-one duels
‡ For 1 or 2 players
I don't do detailed reviews because I don't play these games.
I play horror games and puzzle type stuff. Wars and battles and stuff is for them.
It's a good game all in all though. They have been playing for days on end and still are no where near beating it.
Hours of fun they tell me.
