You would never believe
that a hurricane is coming.
It is absolutely gorgeous outside. It's bright and sunny, hot as always, beautiful.
The boys and I just did another sweep of the yard to pick up more rocks and clothespins etc.
I really wish my neighbors to the right, would pick their shit up cuz if that recycle bin comes through one of my windows, there will be hell to pay when the storm dies down.

Not sure where you live in SRQ, but remember that when (Andrew?) struck Miami the whether in SRQ was absolutely perfect, better than usual because the storm brought cool breezes from the north. Not saying you have to evacuate if you're not on a canal or barrier island, but don't underestimate. It's more fun to reminisce about overestimating than underestimating!

I'm not on an island. Not sure how much you recognize SRQ but I am off of clark road and swift road area.

Can't remember if you're near phillipi creek, though it sounds like this one has more wind than rain. I've always suspected Phillipi would eventually cut a southerly midnight pass...right through where I used to live on Siesta key. We're safe in Ireland now, Go mbeannaí Dia duitto to you and Stuart, Margie, Ena, Lisa, Janet, Tim(s), Yvonne, Bonnie, Kay, Diane, Luiz, Denis, Mary, Butch, Carl and all my other SRQ friends!
