Morning 12.
I woke up about 20 minutes ago and stepped outside to dry ground and very little wind so I came back in and turned on the news and promptly lost ABC7s signal.
Within minutes, the wind outside picked up and the rains began.
No power flickers yet.
The weather guy did say we would start seeing things between 7-8am and boy, how was that for calling it?
The storm is getting closer to us and so we may lose power.
Everyone is sill sleeping here and not much else to report.
Later days.

Our trees are starting to dance up here as well. Just a matter of time...still lighting candles to the power gods... Thinking of ya'!

It was weird, I went outside and there was nothing, not even a breeze. A few small twigs had come down and then just about 5 minutes later, it picked up.
Hang in there! You guys always get the worst in these things. You and Solly live in the hurricane magnet section of the state.

We're still getting pounded up here, but we do have power. It's coming your way, baby. Keep yer head down.

We're good so far Sol. Power flickered on and off several times but it's been on steady now for about an hour. You stay safe too.

We are good so far Karen. Lights are still on, wind is blowing but it seems like the worst is either past us or not arrived yet.
