I love it! LOL!! I've got a pic of me with a velvet poncho with fringe on that my Mom made back in 1970 that I'll have to dig out and scan in. OMG - what a riot.

I love my mom but I HATED these outfits. Oh my god. I was little and didn't have much of a say and she was crafty and made a lot of our clothes. She took care of us but if I ever have to wear anything knitted or crocheted again, I may kill myself....lol
