Well, my asshole neighbor has done something.
I went outside this morning for my smoke and I smelled that urinal cake smell again. It could be mothballs, who knows.
But I glanced over at his "flowerbed" which contains nothing but the same bushes that have been there since I moved in 6 years ago, and there was a little yellow soda cap.
So what you say?
Well, this guy never leaves any type of trash anywhere on his property so I went in for a closer look.
Little white crystals everywhere and the yellow soda cap has liquid in it.
I ran back in, got my camera and the phone.
Took 2 pictures of the area and then called the non-emergency line of the police.
They sent a cop over.
The cop took a report and talked to asshole who said it wasn't poison and said he knows he can't just kill peoples pets but that he is tired of animals in his yard.
Bet he's mad at me now but I don't care.

What was it then, if not some type of poison?! Just because someone "knows he can't just kill other people's pets" doesn't mean someone won't try. Good for you calling the police. If animals don't get into it - what about if a kid were to find it?! There are other was of keeping animals out of yards. Let him be mad.

He says they are moth balls and maybe they are all crushed up moth balls but what about teh liquid in the cap? I am worried about anti-freeze ya know. Bastard.

Your neighbor sounds like an idiot. There are safe things people can put out to keep animals out of their yard. I don't understand people that would purposefully hurt an animal.

Mothballs are safe but I really have to wonder what the liquid is/was. I hate him. He's been a dick since I told him the lawn guy can't park on my side anymore.
