Sunday Sermon 15.
"The book, called the Bible, is filled with passages equally horrible, unjust
and atrocious. This is the book to be read in schools in order to make our
children loving, kind and gentle! This is the book they wish to be recognized
in our Constitution as the source of all authority and justice!"
[Robert G. Ingersoll, "The Gods", 1872]

And when God created Heaven, he also created Hell otherwise known as Dell customer support. Nearly two hours of my life spent convincing someone who knows nothing about the product they sell that my speakers are bad and need to be replaced. Advice for everyone- pay a little more and buy products that are backed by people in your own hemisphere!

Poor Heather. I worked as a support Tech for two computer companies only to see me job sent to India both times. Called outsourcing I was downsized twice after having to train my replacement via telephone. I have a clear distinct voice and I couldn't make myself understood to the trainees. Make that my replacements. 1.5 of her two hours was probably spent repeating herself. As difficult as it is, if you persevere they wiil send the speakers or an on site Tech. I'm not sure but I don't think you can buy a product serviced from this hemisphere unless you are willing to pay the local Geek Squad.

It's just sad that so many jobs from the US are no longer here because it's cheaper to have them elsewhere. So many people have lost jobs.
