After this mornings early fun,
I decided that the whole day was not going to be a complete wash.
So I sat down and made a really beautiful, pink, purple, green and silver bracelet. It is gorgeous! I'm wearing it right now until I feel like scanning it. I may make a few more and put them all up for sale at the same time.
I did my dishes, my laundry that was still in the dryer, I answered every single email I had been avoiding for a few days, I talked with my sister, I coated my nails again. They are getting so long and just a month ago, I had cut them all off.
I must be eating something right for them to be growing this much this fast. It's a clinkety clink when I type. They are rock solid too.
I went and got the mail and holy mother of god! hallelujah! My new eyeballs showed up! yay!
I went and plopped those babies in and ahh, to see crystal clear again is just sch a wonderful thing.
I still need to go to the post office, never made it out this morning between incoming calls and outgoing calls I had to do but I am hoping that roomies plans to do what she said she was going to do are still on and I can still get to the post office before they close.
She is supposed to be moving some of her things out today with help from some of her friends. I insisted on being here when this is done because slap me with a big fish, I don't want my shit stolen.
And yes, I have every right to have that concern. They were supposed to start at 11am and oh look, here it is 12:30 something and uh, no one is here to move anything, she is still sleeping and nothing is getting done.
Thank goodness I don't have a job and didn't have to take time off of work for this crap or I'd be really fucking pissed right about now.
I need to hit the store, hoping sis has to go tonight cuz my back is still a bit fried and un-cooperative today. I need to grab some burger buns, some oven cleaner and some stove top stuffing.
I also needed to go to the library but with these moving plans, my rentals are going to be late. Great. $1.00 per day for each one so let's see, that's $4.00 wasted today. Yippeee!! And she is supposed to do this again tomorrow too so yay! Another $4.00! Woo hoo!!
Ok, so time for me to go be productive again. I hate wasting time.

Doing laundry here and threw a roast into the oven so that's all I've accomplished so far today. Weeee! Yea I don't blame you for not wanting your stuff stolen...I'd be sticking around too. Just sucks that it's such an inconvienence for you!

No. It requires going downtown and I don't let them go there on their own at all. It's a bit harsh even for me.

I'm like that about people coming into my apartment when I'm not there. The only person who is ever allowed to come in when we're not there is Patti, the lady who takes care of our cats when we go on vacation. But we've known her for years and trust her.
Many years ago, I lived in a studio apartment in Trenton, NJ. The landlord decided to replace the shower stall, and he gave the plumber guys a key so that they could get in and do the work while I was out at work. This pissed me off, but I couldn't afford to take time off from work, so I had no choice.
When I got home, I saw that I had no shower...they tore the old stall out and didn't install the new one. (this was a VERY small apartment...no bathtub, just a sink and shower). Not only that, but I could tell that they had been playing with my Atari video game system (that's how long ago this was!)...they left it turned on with a cartridge in it, something I never did. They also drank some of the beers that were in my fridge.
I called the landlord to complain, but he didn't care. Since the assholes had to come back the next day to finish the job, I took the rest of the beer and the joysticks to the Atari and put them in the trunk of my car before going off to work.
And that is why, from that day on, I say that no one I don't know comes in here unless I am here to baby-sit, and even then, it is done at MY convenience, not theirs (unless it is a dire emergency). I can't trust anyone until I get to know them, and even then, I don't always trust.
So, I don't blame you for feeling the way you do!

you can call the library and renew them by phone, I do it all the time:) or even at the suncat website
