My Single Mom Life

The boys are up and out the door to school already. I can't believe it, there's like less than 5 days of school to go. I don't even really know. I lost track in field trips and ceremonies and stuff. No clue. I'll ask the boys later.

Mark had a great time at his field trip to the Everglades. They weren't even there long, like maybe 3 1/2 hours which is just kinda silly cuz it takes 3 hours to get there and 3 to get back and why go if you're only gonna spend 3 hours?
Anyway, he comes back and he's all it was hot mom.
Me: Yeah, I know, I told you not to wear all black but noooo, no one listens to mom when she tells them it's like a jungle in the everglades which translates to SAUNA!
Him: Ok fine, you were right, next time instead of listening to the I told yous when I get back, I just won't go cuz I like black.
Me: *eye roll*
Him: *raised eyebrow* Don't roll your eyes at me. Just cuz you're always right doesn't mean I can't trrry to wear black ya know.
Me: Fine but wasn't it hot and icky and sticky and sweaty and mmm, mmm, mm, didn't the bus ride home smell sooo good cuz you and all your friends like black so much your deodorant was worn off 15 minutes after you got there?
Him: *squinty eyes* Yes! Oh my god mom it smelled sooo bad on the way home!
Me: Then next time, when I tell you to wear gray which is a gloomy color too cuz you'll be hot, you should just at least humor me and put it in your backpack to change into when you realize mom was right again.
Him: You're right, you're always right. But ha! There won't be a next time cuz school is over in a few days! Ha! Take that! *runs from room laughing like a maniac*
Me: Dufus!
Him: Know it all freak!
Me: Stinky!
Him: You like black too!
Me: Yes I do but if I was going someplace I knew it'd be hot I would wear gray!
Him: Arrrggghhh!!
Me: Go take a shower stinky pits!
Him: I am! I can't stand my own stench anymore!

Hahaha! I love to torment them.

I have some projects to do today and dishes and laundry of course.
I need to try and play catch up with you all.
I got some sleep last night which I didn't the night before but I don't think my body really cares. I'm still soo tired.
Feh.
I'll just nap.
