Apparently calling white people Micheal Jackson is the new slang for whitey.
The dentists office is out at my docs which is in that part of town that I get into trouble on here for calling the ghetto.
It is people. Get over it.
While waiting for our bus home, we got called Micheal Jackson several times. At first I was like what? Then I figured it out. It's the new slang for white people.
So the boys teeth are cleaned, the wedding gift is purchased, the cats have food and litter and we have tp.
We are home and exhausted.
But I did figure out exactly where the church was so it shouldn't be too big of a deal to get him dropped off and then run back to the bus stop Thursday night for the last bus back.
I hope.
Oh and an amusing aside, people who use anonymouse who are here looking at my blog thinking I can't figure out who you are, I still know what system you're using, what time zone you're in and your carrier.
Anonymouse isn't as anonymous as you think.

Hell...I call my own neighborhood a *ghetto*...and I am white, and most of the neighbors I bitch about are white, too. Trashy is as trashy does...does not matter what color they are, it's the way they live and act that makes them ghetto and trashy.

It's ok and it's not like I'm the only white person out there at all. There are others. It's just a wicked shitty part of town. The lady who owns the store that I stop in on the corner to get a soda or something while I wait for the bus always tells me to stay close to her store until the bus comes. She knows it's dangerous.
I know I sounded like a completely racist asshole in this post but the store owner is a black woman and SHE'S telling me to stay close to her store until the bus comes.
Do you know in the almost 8 years I've been down here I've never been called a cracker or any other racist term at all? Today was the first time I have been called a name for being white and I was dumb founded because I didn't get it.
My kids had to explain it to me.
I was like that doesn't make any sense. He's a black man and they said no, he's a white man pretending to be black so kids are now calling whites who pretend Micheal Jacksons. It's weird. I don't get it still.
After they explained it to me, I still didn't get it because I don't pretend to be black at all. I don't dress all gangster or anything.
I was totally offended.

If someone would call me Michael Jackson I'd think it meant that I'm black (or was) and act way to white???
I'm so glad race isn't really an issue here. Americans would say I'm in an "interracial relationship". Thank God we don't even have a word like that here. Here we just have relationships. Where is all this going?? I have no idea..... Sorry.

I don't know what it means girl to tell you the truth, all I know was it was used in a derogatory way and even the store owner knew it and she's a black woman.
Yeah, shit is still fucked up in our country and it's sad that it is but that is the way it is.
I don't do anything to anyone. I mind my own business, I go where I need to go and do my thing. I make no judgments of anyone based on skin color but she sucks in this country and parts of where I live.
That was the first time in my life I have ever been called a racial slur regardless of whatever it may mean. It stung.
