It has been a hellaciously long day.
When you agree to let kids sleepover and you have verbal confirmation that the parents will be home the following day, it would be great if they kept their word and didn't take advantage of you simply because you're a stay at home mom and they didn't think you'd mind taking care of and feeding their kid all day long.
I have a migraine and I'm exhausted.
I hate people.
Oh and whoever is looking for April 7, 2005, here ya go.

Been there, too, darlin'. Many times. Work-at-home, stay-at-home Mom, makes no difference to some parents, who just seem to be glad to get a break of their own, never reciprocate either. In my passive-aggressive fashion, however, I have in the past pointedly made calls to parents to say sweetly, "I'm inviting your son to stay for dinner, what time would you like him to be home?"
