It's gonna be a long weekend.
The boys are gone until Monday and I'm broke...lol
They went camping with Mikey's family.
Mikey is Mark's best friend since first grade.
I still marvel at that. They met when they were just 7 and have been best friends ever since.
I will be home the entire weekend I'm sure so if there are any problems, the family can reach me, plus Mark has his cell and it has my cell number in it in case I go out.
Like tonight after they left, I called my sis, whining that the house was too quiet and I missed them already.
She said she was coming down to go out to dinner with her friend Kat and I was welcome to join them so I did.
We went to Mattison's.
God I love that place.
Yum.
Mark texted me while we were there and I texted him back.
He just wanted to say hello and he loved me.
Awww.
So anyway, the house is quiet and empty. It's just me and the 3 cats hanging out.
They all usually sleep with each of us at night. Kali with me, Nova with Mark and Shahiro with Sebastian, but when the boys are not home, I end up with 3 cats in my bed.
It's kinda nice but very warm.

Sorry I haven't been visiting. Anyway, I know the feeling. It's weird how we've always wished to have the house to ourselves, only to find out it's not that much fun being in there alone. But I'm sure you'll enjoy it in the coming days.
How are you feeling? You seem loads better now since the last time I checked. That's a nice thought.

I went through the same thing this weekend. I found myself checking on the boys at 11 at night and then realizing- oh, yeah.. that's right.. they're NOT HERE! Then the quiet was almost disturbing. It's odd to NEED alone time, then have it and feel weird about it! lol

I would love some peace and quiet here, I need to wait until bed time for that though. Maybe I can find someone to take my kids camping for a few days, lol. :)
