Progress and too many boys.
There are 4 boys here tonight. School is out and so the sleepovers have started during the week and not just weekends anymore.
It's kind of easier to just say yes because it keeps them all occupied and not fighting or telling me how bored they are.
We're watching LOST and I made our little fun food.
It went over well. I made the shrimp, cut up some oranges and apples, made french fries, and garlic bread. I know, not really all island-ish food, but I had 4 boys to feed so extra food had to be made.
I also made sure I had plenty of chips and cookies to keep them from telling me 20 minutes after they ate, that they were all hungry again.
They are all being really good so far. Keep your fingers crossed it stays this way.
As for my progress, I was putting my panties and shorts and pants on, with office paper clips. It made it so much easier to get dressed without any assistance. Well, I can do it now without the clips.
Yay!
I can now lift my legs high enough, and bend low enough to reach my garments down and put my feet in and then pull them up without help.
Woot!
Shaving below shin level is still a bit rough. I can almost get it.
My toes, nope. Still not happening.
I hope to be able to do this eventually but I'm not getting my hopes up.
I'd say pantyhose are forever a lost cause now....lol
But things are getting easier one day at time.
I can bend over and get stuff off the floor now if I bend fully at the knees and hang onto something like a counter or table or chair.
I feel better with every new move I can do without having to ask someone else to do it.
I still am not allowed to vacuum the rugs and stuff but I'm hoping he says I can do these things soon. My house is falling apart.
I have some major organizing to do around here but have to wait until I feel stronger to do it.
Ok, back to LOST now.
Later days.

We are at exactly the same point! I too can get stuff on the floor (just) but toes - forget it!
I get a checkup 22nd June to see when I can hoover - when's your next one?

Your progress is encouraging! Very happy for you. Don't worry, the toes will come.
Meanwhile, get those summer-vacation-carefree boys to vacuum. Dude.
