My Kalikitty.
I think Kali is sick. I can't get close enough to her to check her, she won't come out from hiding which is so not like her at all. This is Kali we're talking about here, Miss loverbutt, Miss pet me all day/night, Miss I love everyone who walks through the door.
She won't come out. She's thrown up a few places.
This is my kitty. I've had her for a little over 9 years now.
Today is the first time she hasn't come to me when I call her or go to the bathroom. Ya know how cats love to go in there with you, it's like they know you have to sit so they have you trapped petting them. She hasn't come out at all. She didn't sleep with me last night.
This just makes me so sad.
I need to get her to come out of hiding and check her nose and stuff.
Maybe it's the cat food cuz of all the throw up, maybe it's just not agreeing with her belly. She's old now so maybe she needs a different food.
Gah. :(

Oh no! So sorry to hear she's sick. Hopefully it's nothing serious, just an upset tummy.

Hi Kat! I haven't been visiting you. I'm sorry, been SO busy with work. :(
Anyway, I feel for you about Kali. I hate seeing my dogs getting sick and throwing up. Makes me want to stay at home and look after them until they get better. That means I'll be absent from work. Now that's not good. LOL.
Hope you're doing ok! :)

I don't know what you are feeding your kitties, but my geezer cats love Purina Cat Chow Vitality Formula (dry food in the red bag). It is formulated for older cats, it's lower in fat, and is easier for them to digest. Even my non-geezer cats like it.
I'd suggest trying this, or any other food formulated for older cats. Hope Kali feels better soon!
