Groceries or medicine?
There's a reason so many seniors have to make that choice.
SSI and SSDI, go up a few dollars in January.
A few, like no more than $20.00.
And because they give a few extra dollars, they increase the medically share of cost payments and decrease any other benefits people get.
It's ingenious. Make people think they are going to be ok by announcing the increase right before the holidays and then hit 'em again a few weeks later with the wonderful news that their other benefits are being cut.
It's fab-u-lous.
I'm having a blah kind of day, just want to be totally lazy, so I'm gonna kick back and watch Superman Returns that came from Netflix today. Then I'm gonna move my lazy butt to the store to get us some dinner and stuff.
Later days.
