Merry Christmas eve!
It's the day before and I have some wrapping to do later on once the teens are occupied a bit, some more dishes of course, the prepping of the holiday meal which means I have to get down on my hands and knees and dig through the cupboard to get out all the baking pans, corning ware, roaster pan, serving bowls and such.
Yes, I could ask the boys to do it but they don't know the difference between styles of pans yet. I plan on educating them because I've decided I'm not making this whole meal myself.
We will be having turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry/orange sauce, carrots, broccoli and cheese, stuffing and garlic rolls.
For dessert, death by chocolate cake with glazed strawberries on top.
I did purchase the meal from Publix, but it's only the turkey, taters, stuffing and sauce. I do have to heat it all up and then cook all the other items.
This year, they will help me and love every minute of it.
And it seems like an awful lot of food for three people, but they are teenage boys. They will go back for seconds and thirds. Then have more again the next day.
Today, we're gonna clean the house up so when sis stops by tomorrow it's nice in here. Not that it's filthy, I am constantly cleaning to keep myself occupied, but make it cleaner.
Here's a song for those of you who may have missed it last year when I posted it, or simply have never heard it.

I know the title when you hover over and download, does not say Ave Maria, but it is.

Seriously, dinner sounds yummy!
Merry Christmas (Eve). I 've been keeping up with my fav blogs during family downtime while I'm visiting. And now I am off to do more visiting.
