Verizon, part 3.

I have blogged about my recent billing issues with Verizon DSL here and here.
My last update on February 23rd, I was assured by a supervisor, that my card would be charged that day.
Today is March 5th and I still have not been charged the correct amount of $37.95.
I have still only been billed a total of $5.00
My service is still on as you can see, but the money is still sitting in my account, untouched.

Can you believe this shit?
I mean honestly, all I want to do is pay the bill. I've called them multiple times now in an attempt to pay this damn bill, and they keep telling me it's been billed when I can clearly see that it hasn't.
Seriously, look at this;

02/15/2007 Purchase - VERIZON INTERNET SOL ($1.00)
02/19/2007 Purchase - VERIZON INTERNET SOL ($1.00)
02/19/2007 Purchase - VERIZON INTERNET SOL ($1.00)
02/19/2007 Purchase - VERIZON INTERNET SOL ($1.00)
02/23/2007 Purchase - VERIZON INTERNET SOL ($1.00)

One of the 15th, 3 on the 19th, and 1 on the 23rd.
Is that not crazy?
I don't understand this at all.
I don't know if I should call them again, or just say screw it, their mistake, tough shit. If it came down to proving how many times I've tried to pay it, I can print out and mail, or email my CC statement o them.
What would you do?

I'm not sure what to do about this.

On the one hand, if they are too stupid to charge you the correct amount, they don't deserve their money.

But on the other hand...somewhere down the road, someone might wise up, decide that you owe them something like $600 in back bills, and threaten to shut off your phone and internet if you don't pay it all NOW.

Is there some sort of Board of Public Utitilies (or something like that) in Florida? If I were you I'd try to find it, and complain to them about Verizon's shitty-assed billing practices.

At this point, this issue does need to be taken to a higher authority than Verizon. It's complete bullshit, and somethign has to be done NOW.

Good luck!

Christine pretty much said what I was going to say...take it higher up and see if they can do something about it before Verizon tries to screw you over.

Unfortunately, I think they'll come back and try to screw you in the future. I don't trust any businesses at all anymore. They're all greedy bastards. Are you sure the "SOL" in those billings doesn't stand for "Shit Outta Luck"?? ;) Maybe that's what you should tell 'em! lol

Chris and I have had our own on going issues with Verizon.. Chris just called last week reaming out the head supervisor of billing telling her that because of their incompetant service we deserve a credit untill they get their shit straigthened out.. She credited us $65.00 dollars and will continue to do so every three months until they do get it together.... CALL THEM NOW!

This is insane. Go higher up if you can, and start SCREAMING.

I, like your other commentors, think you should try to nip this asap, as in the long run wyou will be the one to suffer for their mistakes. Maybe call the CEO.
