My Single Mom Life: A great chat with author L. Diane Wolfe.

A great chat with author L. Diane Wolfe.

Every Tuesday night from 7pm- 8pmEST, Marcus holds a chat with a special guest.
Tonight we had author L. Diane Wolfe, of the "Circle of Friend series".
Diane has a blog, you can find it here, where sometimes the characters of her books make special appearances.

It was another great chat, being able to talk with successful individuals about what they do, how they do it, and they even offer helpful advice.

I would love to see the chats more structured though.
These guests have taken an hour of their time to come chat with us, so I'd personally like to see the excessive chatter toned down.
All the "hi's" and "bye's", the off topic conversations about what's on tv tonight, etc, more on topic to the guest we have.
But it was a very wonderful chat, and I can't wait to see who next weeks special guest is.

Thank you again Marcus for getting us another great guest, and Diane, it was truly a pleasure chatting with you this evening, and I look forward to receiving a copy of your book.

thank you. I'm making some users there admins and moderators. If you want to start your own scheduled chat that would be great. I'll make you an admin

Wow, thanks. I'll have to think about what the best time would be for people to get together to chat.
I'll let you know what I come up with, Thanks a lot!

And really Marcus, great job getting guests. I just really wished more people had stayed on topic, it's kind of rude to invite an author, and have people start talking about American idol. I felt awkward that that happened, and then when Diane said, "Spunky: Anyone have any deep questions for the author? I am prepared for anything!", I felt super awkward.
When you have guests, ask people to stay on topic, if you don't mind my suggestion, not trying to tell you what to do, but these people have taken time out of their lives and busy schedules, to chat with us, the very least we can do is stay on topic and ask them pertinent questions. For this to be successful for you, you want your guests paid attention to. Not AI, not the weather, etc. I kept getting booted, couldn't see half the text screen, I'm so glad you posted transcripts. I learned a lot again.
This is such a good idea and I'm so proud of you for having the guts to contact these people and ask them. That's awesome!
Maybe Problogger could be a guest sometime. Have you contacted him? I read him every day and learn tons from him.

Thanks for leaving a comment, and the chat.

That's okay, Kat - I still enjoyed the questions! Sometimes they came pretty fast, so I hope I answered them all appropriately. (I am not a fast typer, which is another reason I hand-write all of my books first.)

I have connections with many other authors if your group would like to chat with someone of a completely different genre!

Thanks again!
