My Single Mom Life

I got up on time this morning, took all outgoing mail out, didn't lock myself out this time. *wink*
I have the laundry started, and beef stew started in the crock pot.
I actually prepped the stew last night, cut up all the veggies, carrots celery, potatoes, onions, cut up all the stew beef, set all my ingredients and tools I would need on the counter so I wouldn't forget my plan of action first thing this morning, and then got to work tossing it all in the pot except for the taters.
They go in during the last 35 minutes.
Cooked but not mushy.

I've picked up around the house, have a few dishes to do, and after the washer is done, I'll take my shower.
Then when Mark gets home, we're going to head on up to the barber shop and say good-bye to the long hair.
Maybe I'll take a pic first so you can see how out of control it was.
Down past his shoulders, way down past his chin. He kept it in a side part, so it was like one of those really shaggy 70's do's.
I think he finally realized what a hassle it is to take care of long hair, plus it's hot.
Now I'm off to answer emails and get busy on the rest of the house.
