EMI Shielding
I will probably never need this, but others do. EMI Shielding is shielding from Electromagnetic interference.
You would shield equipment so as not to interfere with other equipment, that is performing important functions in your operation.
Some of the products that you would use are Conductive Elastomer Gaskets, Low Closure Force, Foam-Based Gaskets, Shielded Vents and Windows.
Some of the machines EMI shielding is used in are MRI machines, which I have been in quite a few, but I wouldn't have the slightest clue about all the safety devices and precautions they have to take.
All I know, is they make me take out every single piercing and piece of jewelry. And now with all these titanium rods in, I can't even step foot in a traditional MRI machine.
