Protien power.
When I first moved here in 1997, I was overweight and out of shape.
I got a job at Pier 1 Imports as a shipping/receiving manager, but I was coming home every night completely exhausted. My sister, who is a health nut, suggested I try protein powder, and make shakes every morning before work.
Not only did they give me enough energy to get through my long days of unloading trucks full of furniture and goods, but I lost weight.
A lot of it.
I weighed 215 pounds when I moved here and started that job.
Within 6 months of drinking a protien shake every morning, working hard at my job, and eating better over all, (sis taught me many new habits) I dropped down to 130 pounds and kept it off for 7 years.
I lost 85 pounds in 6 months and kept it off.
It has only been in the last couple of years, that I have put any of that weight back on, and it is because of my mobility issues.
I have not tried ProEnergy brand, but looking at it's list of ingredients, and that they use whey proteins, I am very interested in trying it. There are many success stories posted there, many like mine, losing weight, keeping it off, having more energy to get through the day.
