Snail mail!
I got a knock on my door a few minutes ago by my lovely post woman, and in her arms, she had just 3 things for me.
She had the free hardcover, early copy of the book, You know your life is a soap opera if..., that was sent to me by the publisher.
It looks incredibly funny, I cannot wait to start reading it.
Snippet:
"Although obstetricians rarely recommend infidelity as a treatment for infertility, a one night stand with an unsuitable partner, (like your husband's black sheep brother) will significantly increase your odds of conception."
All the weird wacky things that go on in soaps. I love it! Thanks so much for the copy, I'll be sure to post my thoughts on it when I am done reading it.
From my buddy Micheal, a new video card and a full 1 gig of memory stick to slap in this bad boy. I cannot wait! It sucks I have PT this afternoon, I'd rip this sucker open right now and perform surgery.
Micheal is the god of finding the cheapest sources for memory and computer parts. He rocks my socks man.
And from Netflix, The Illusionist.
I love having new movies to watch all the time. I watch one, mail it back the next day, and they ship me out a new one that same day. We do the two at a time unlimited monthly, so we are totally getting the most bang for our buck.
Not a single bill today or other piece of bad mail news.
Good mail days are few and far between so yay! For good stuff in today's delivery!
W00t!

I've held off on netflix for the longest time......but yay for snail mail! Is this new book by the same author or publisher as The Capo's Mistress? I still need to see if I can participate, but like eveyrthing else here lately, it's been pushed to the back burner.
