The teens will be home soon,
and I promised Sebastian he could play with his Sims after school today.

That's his Kennedy family. Leon and Diana. The attempting husband stealing slore.
He doesn't play very long, usually ends up asking me to decorate their house for him, because left to his own ideas on a house, they up up with neon pink walls and bright green rugs, no toilets or stoves.
His Sims end up in bad moods, peeing all over the house and starving to death.
He did do one house really cool once. His Sim people loved it, whenever any of their Sim friends stopped by, every one's moods increased and then his Sims got good points and bonus money for having successful parties and stuff.
So I'll be off line for probably an hour, that's about as long as he plays.
That's ok though, I have to run to the store anyway.
Later days.

The SIMS have always struck me as a hilarious game -- especially when your people start behaving badly... I never played it, could see myself getting hooked on it...

That's a really fun game, but I seem to have the same problem as your son does. My son must come in and help me all the time though. lol

Hahah! Now, if I could just design my home so well. But of course I can't, because in the real world, there is no cheat code for "motherlode"...LOL

Did I tell you about the time my husband and I set ourselves up as a Sims couple and I let him catch on fire?
I miss that game, I just never got very far in it and it took friggin FOREVER to get anywhere with it.

It does take awhile to get anywhere in it, but once your family is going, they pretty much do things themselves. Well, Sims 2 anyway. They have total free will. I only interrupt when I have to, like if the babies diaper needs changing and they're all too busy playing poker to notice...LOL
