What a difference a day makes.
I'm up and about to go take a shower, get ready for my day.
Walgreen's finally has it together, and can finish my script fill and actually bill the insurance.
Yay for small miracles.
If it wasn't for Sweetbay, I'd transfer all my scripts to CVS and just do all my shopping over at that plaza. But Sweetbay sucks.
You walk in and it smells dirty, like rotting meat, and the employees' are never friendly. It's truly like they hate their jobs.
So I deal with downed computers and crap.
It's not fun, I don't enjoy it, but it's one of those situations where I have to decide between risking bad food at one grocery store, and bad customer service, or a clean store and awesome customer service.
I choose clean store, great people, and stupid people at Walgreen's who don't know how to reboot the system.
*shrug*
__________
I have the dreaded PT today. Man how I wish this was over already.
I fricking hate it.
But you knew that. *wink*
____________
My house is a mess.
I didn't tell you all what happened on Monday night.
We were sitting here watching that new show, Thank God You're Here, and the power wet out for about a minute.
Then it came back on.
Then it went out for 10 minutes.
One whole side of the street.
When it came back on, the house was so hot. It was incredibly humid Monday night. Like 2 seconds outside, and you were drenched in sweat at 10pm. It was gross.
So after the power came back on, the whole house was that icky sticky humid, I had to crank the AC just to get it to stop being sticky in here.
I know it's going to affect my bill, but it was seriously needed. You just can't sleep when it's like that.
I was too tired and too sick to deal with the mess that got made that night.
I'm sitting here looking at it now, candles everywhere, flashlights, a giant box of matches right in the middle of the coffee table.
Mess.
Not to mention the rugs.
OOoooh man, the rugs are in serious need of a vac.
Cat hair everywhere, a blanket on the floor, some boxes from who knows what. Mess.
This needs to be tackled.
___________
I was up fairly late, and paid all my bills in the wee hours of the morning, and sent a dear friend, her quickie loan back. Thank you so much girl. You saved me from committing homicide. Yesterday was just a truly, freaking, awful day.
I haven't had a day like that in a long time.
But it got better, today is starting off right, I'm going to keep it as on track as I can.
Later days.

We get a couple of weeks of the really icky hot, sticky humid weather at some point each summer.
But reading about yours now? While there's still 1.5 feet of snow on the ground? It seems kinda surreal.

I hope today stays well for you!
We had that happen to us last week when tornadoes supposedly blew through the area. Our power was out for about two hours, though. Only this little stretch of road.
