My Single Mom Life: You can delete it off the forum, but not here.

You can delete it off the forum, but not here.

For many, many hours, last night and most of the morning, my site was inaccessible due to code placed here from another site.
When a server crashed, it basically took all the blogs with it, down the drain hole as well.
I posted how upset I was, and rightly so. Their code, took down my entire site for hours and hours.
They deleted it.
Hrmph.

Here's my opinion.
Hire over night dev workers so in the event this happens again, you'll have a jump on it.
Make sure your servers can handle the large amount of users who will be trying to get to your latest deployment.
It's been one error after another for weeks, heck months, and you wonder why you can't drum up enthusiasm for your upcoming event.
This has gone beyond ridiculous.

Great day for a deployment huh?

How do you mean, your site was inaccessible. I posted a comment at 9:30 and you posted an update at 11:46... ? Do you mean the PPP site was the one that was completely FUBAR?

I said my site and most blogs, were completely inaccessible from 1:17am, to 7:20am, with intermittent moments where it would work and I could post.
On again, off again. Loading, not loading. Waiting on ppp....

I had to comment out the js in my header for that bubble ad thing. I doubt I will ever put it back now.

I had about 35% fewer visitors than usual yesterday. I wonder why......

Unfortunately, I just took an opp that requires that gd bubble code. After 30 days, it's gone. There's only one company that uses it for their opps anyway.
