Brookside screwed up.
Brookside Middle was supposed to send all the summer school registration info to the high school, so Sebastian could take his summer LMS classes.
They didn't send in over 100 students papers, so they got sent home.
He can't take the class this summer.
I called the high school and they said that he can take it during the year, or next summer. As long as he takes it before he's supposed to graduate when he's a senior, he'll be good.
It kinda sucks.
I wanted them both to be going to school together every day. It would help to keep Mark motivated if he had someone to go with.
He is taking his classes, but he's totally not happy Sebastian gets the summer off now.

WTF! Poor Mark. Now he's really going to hate having to get up and trot to school by himself. I can't stand incompetence in people. So 100+ are left thinking what the hell?

Seems like the school should remove their craniums out of their rectums and make some exceptions because of their stupidity.
Jackasses.

Time for Sebastian to find hisself a part-time job.
Please Kat, don't do what I did with my son. I never pushed him to do anything in the summertime, except for the couple summers he did Scouts, and once he did a week of summer camp.
Now he's 18 and has no motivation at all. I started working when I was 8. I wish I had pushed my son to start working at 15 or 16. Now he's shiftless, lazy, and has no skills to speak of.
If there's one mistake I made, it was that: not pushing him hard enough.

That really, really sucks. The school should own up to their mistake and correct it.
