Hair yesterday, gone today.

Sebastian and his Big came back here to drop off his hair and change his clothes. They had gone swimming, and are now headed out to go bowling.
The place that cut his hair put it in a baggie and gave us a form and a pre-marked envelope, so we can mail it to Locks of Love ourselves.

This is the most recent pic of Sebastian that I could find.
I don't take nearly enough pics of my kids because our cameras don't work that great.
But his hair was actually much longer than this, this morning when he left. Picture it down to his chest area.

This is him now. It's super short!
He really looks a lot younger now.

And this is how much they cut off, 11 inches!!!

That's GREAT...you should be very proud of him. He did a terrific thing!

Got to know about the site from your blog. Thats so nice of Sebastian to think of sending his hair there.

That's an awesome thing for him to have done. You have every right to be very proud of him!

Well done Sebastian! Congrats to Mom on raising a kid with heart! Be proud, both of you!

Wow! I almost didn't recognize him. Great kid to think of donating his hair;)

Awesome! He looks great. Very sweet son you have there.

Wow...someone is raising her kids to be very good citizens!

I'm a proud mama, I'm allowed to brag right?
I had been bugging him to get it cut, he kept saying no.
But his Big talked him into doing it, and then the salon cut it for free because he was donating it.
And because his Big is proud of him for doing it, his Big is going to pay him $50.
I told the guy it wasn't necessary, and he said, "Sometimes kids need a reward for good deeds because they don't realize the immediate impact that the good deed has done. By giving Sebastian some money for this, he will learn good karma. If you do good, good things will come to you. It won't always be in the form of money, but one good deed deserves one back."

If his Big wasn't so young, (25) I'd be all over him like Mrs. Robinson to Benjamin Braddock. ;)

Wow, he does look a lot younger! That was so cool of him to donate it to Locks of Love...that's some pretty hair!

What's wrong with dating a guy 12 years younger? The sex drive is the same;) haha...

That is so awesome! He is a great looking kid!

What a great idea. I have recommended Locks of Love to my brothers who have long cherished hair and may need to cut it due to a job possibility.

Locks of Love is one of my favorite charities. It was awesome of him to donate his hair so fearlessly and go for a shorter cut than he originally wanted. And he looks handsome both ways :)

Wow, he really does look younger! But very nice! He looked good before, too. He looks a lot like his mama! ;)
