Shahiro Scissorpaws
Sebastian decided that Shahiro was stinky and needed a bath.
I volunteered, I've given many cats a bath over the years, no big deal.
She nearly ripped my hand to ribbons!
She even somehow, managed to get my right boob!
I now have band-aids on both hands and my boob, but at least the cat doesn't smell anymore!!

Ouch. I still have a scar on my upper lip from giving my cat a bath 20 years ago. My lips are uneven.
Glad you lived to tell the tale!

I know how it feels as I was once bitten by a painted terrapin when I was trying o help it turn over (it was turned turtle). It hurt, and it bled.
Put lots of lotion onto the area and keep your hands dry. I hope you get well soon!

I have never attempted to bathe a cat. How did Shahiro get stinky?

You're a brave woman. A friend of mine's cat went into shock and almost died when she gave him a bath!! I can't even give my cat a flea treatment -- he's incredibly strong and vicious when cornered. Very cuddly otherwise. Cats are so schizophrenic....LOL
