Thanks again Erika!

I just want to say thanks again to Erika, for her help today with my MT upgrade.

My web host, Icdsoft.com, sent me an email this morning alerting me that my installation was causing a drain on the server. The scripts for my MT were loading very slowly.
I kinda knew that, it was taking about 40 seconds to get a new post to publish, and same thing with approving comments.
I did need to upgrade. I had been using version 3.17 for oh, about 2 years. They had upgraded all the way to version 3.35.

I would have done it myself, but the last time I tried to do an upgrade, I nearly wiped out my whole blog. I almost deleted my installation which would have wiped out every thing. 4 years of posts and pictures. Luckily, I stopped and exited my control panel pronto before I did any major damage.

I really like the new version. It's got a few things I have no idea how to use yet, but I'll figure them out at some point. Like the new tags feature. I have no clue how to make that work. But it's cool!

So y'all go on over and check her out. She's got a really pretty blog and is just too sweet.

MT can be a bit difficult...I used to use it, but decided to switch to something else after I DID lose my whole blog several years ago...probably due to something I did to it. I'm glad Erika was able to help you out, she is really good with this kind of stuff.

I actually met her and her husband in person several years ago, at a gathering of Boston area bloggers. Christine from BigPinkCookie was visiting, and I got to meet her, too.

I still read Erika's blog from time to time...Sammy is just so cute!
