My Single Mom Life

I just realized, I am officially the mom of two high school students now.
Sebastian begins his freshman year this fall, and Mark begins his junior year.
Holy crap.
It's one of those moments where you sit back, take a deep breath, and try to figure out where the years disappeared to.

I still recall new baby smell, and first teeth, first potty experiences, first words, and first every things.
All the silly shows watched because they loved them, stuffed sleeping buddies and blankets.
First grade, first school pictures.

Now they are young adults with minds of their own, and able to do so much by themselves.
The years have just flown by, and if time keeps going like this, they will be grown and on their own soon.
Everyone says it goes by quickly.
I didn't know how true that was.
