Belvedere a total rust.
Watching it live right now, the car, the 1957 Plymouth Belvedere, is completely rusted out, but the contents of the time capsule are in perfect condition.
The Schlitz beer from the trunk, had somehow made it's way through the car, all the way into the front seat. *hahahah*
It's just such an interesting story. I find it so fascinating to watch this.
The car really is rusted out completely, but all the contents of the capsule are in excellent condition including an American flag from 1957 when we only had 46 states in the union.
They found many more artifacts in the capsule than they actually knew were in there.
They found things inside the glove box, and the backseat, including tins containing film reels.
They have taken pictures of every thing as they took them out of the car, and I hope they put them on the website, buriedcar.com.

I want to see them up close, but because it's a live event, they are going through them rather quickly.
