Crazy Hip Blog Mamas #35

carnivalblogmamas.gif

This weeks topic is:
"Something I made that I was REALLY proud of, or Something I tried to make that didn't turn out quite right."

The very first piece of jewelry I ever made.

It took me about 6 different tries to get that piece the way I wanted it, but I finally got it right, and that started my little side business.
With each piece I made, I got better and better at it.
I haven't been able to get back to it again for quite some time, but it's like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it.

I actually have a bunch of beads I bought a few months ago, and the project is still in my head.
As soon as I can do it, I'll be making the bracelet and earring sets I have imagined for them.

Post a pic so we can see your beautiful work!

It's beautiful! I love the colors - I grew up along the coast and the color palette of the seas invigorate me. :)

Wow, what a great piece! And Keanu, too! Great job!

Thanks for taking time to come by my blog, and your kind comment! I'll be back to see you soon!

Believing there's no God means I can't really be forgiven except by kindness and faulty memories. That's good; it makes me want to be more thoughtful. I have to try to treat people right the first time around.- Penn Jillette
