Of sunglasses that is. I kind of like motorcycle sunglasses because they cover the whole eye, protect them from sun getting in all the way around, have better UV protection.
Yesterday when Sebastian and I went for our walk, the sun was so bright. When we came back in the house, every thing had a yellow haze to it. I asked him if he was seeing this color as well, and he was.
I can only imagine the type of sun damage we did to our eyes on that short walk.
The sun here is very harsh, I am not a sun worshiper at all. I do not lay out and get a tan, I don't go to tanning beds, I'm pasty white year round.
I noticed two spots on my right leg about 6 months ago that are seriously concerning me now.
They are not going away, they are not age spots. They have changed shape and size since I first noticed them.
I'm pretty sure it's some type of sun damage, and I need to have my primary care doctor give me a reference to a dermatologist.
I'm pretty scared of sun damage these days. I know what my dad went through because of the sun on his nose, my sis has had sun damage on her face but has had it taken care of, and I know several other people who have skin cancer because of the harsh direct sun we have here.
I need new sunglasses to protect my eyes from it, and I'll just have to slather on even more sunscreen now when I do go out.
I need to get the boys some sunglasses too.
