My Single Mom Life

I told you all about the free photo enlargement I was getting from Canvas on Demand a few days ago.
It came today, and it is so beautiful, such a great picture of the boys and Susan and Skye.
I was wanting to keep this a secret, but the cat is outta the bag.
I am sending it to my parents for an anniversary gift for them.
Their wedding anniversary is July 31st. They've been married ages and ages now, probably one of the best marriages around through ups and downs.

The picture is really awesome. The four of them all sitting together, it took something like 27 tries.
Either one kid was blinking, or a little one was looking the other way, wanting to get down and play, but sis finally got one just perfect.
It's them as they are and it really is the most beautiful picture.
I am definitely going to be ordering one for myself because it is simply gorgeous.
Bright colors, wrap around canvas, all of the kids smiling together.
They are an awesome foursome.
When sis said she was adopting the girls, the boys were delighted. We were all there in the courtroom that day to officially make those girls ours.
Susan came over to where we were sitting while sis did the official stuff, and hugged on me and the boys.
Both my boys started crying and asked if this was really happening.
"Are they really ours mom? Do we really get to be their cousins forever?"
I said yes, they're ours.
They were both crying, they love these girls so much.

With our folks still living up in Maine and us all down here, this picture is the perfect gift to give them.
The four grandkids together. Every time we've gone up to visit, it's just been sis and the girls alone, or me and the boys alone, so this is really perfect.

So anyway, here's the boys holding the picture and it's going to be mailed out to mom and dad soon.
I wanna show it to sis first, she wants to see it.
