Yup, it's the start of the free annual credit reports for everyone! (got it make it sound cool even though credit reports are scary)
You can get your 3 free credit reports from Annual Credit Report starting now, (or whenever you got yours last year) from the major reporting agencies, TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax.
You can do this once every 12 months, and it's suggested that you get one now, wait 4 months, get the second, wait 4 more months and get the third.
They suggest doing it that way in case things change on your reports.
I will probably do it that way this year.
I usually just get all 3 at once, but it's probably best to get one every 4 months so I can see activity all throughout the year.
