I know a lot of people have a problem with paid blogging, but I really think they don't understand it, or are willing to admit they do it too.
Have a wish list on your site? How about a paypal donate button? Or what about that new buy me a latte or a beer button?
Yeah, that's paid blogging in a way.
People read your blog and send you gifts, donate to your coffee addiction or what have you.
It's compensation, it's a form of payment.
I make money by blogging about products or websites.
I make money and pay my bills, buy the things we need.
One of the companies I work for keeps my utilities from getting shut off.
They give me a list of sites they want blogged about and tell me what day it's due. I blog them at my leisure and how I want to.
They don't tell me to be positive or negative, they let me decide how I blog it.
And my most fave thing about them?
I'm not trying to get assignments, they just send them to me.
It's guaranteed work every single week, and they pay me every 2 weeks.
I've made a nice chunk of change with them since about February.
