My Single Mom Life: Off to get xrays tomorrow morning.

« Sunday Sermon #33 | Main | I'll have the results in a few days. »

Off to get xrays tomorrow morning.

This is what the top of my scar looks like this morning. I know it's kind of hard to see, but the entire area is black, blue, red and purple.
It was hurting this morning, so I asked Sebastian to take a look. He said it was all black and blue. I asked him to touch where it was.
When he ran his finger round the area, it felt like he was cutting into my skin with a knife.

Mark then looked at it and said the same thing. I looked at it in the mirror and saw all the colors, so I called my surgeons answering service and they finally called me back.
They said to keep it easy for the rest of the day, and they are faxing an order for xrays to SMH for me to go in the morning.
I didn't do anything out of the ordinary last night or yesterday. No heavy lifting, no odd movements.
It hurts man. :(

your incision looks a little red but you might have an adhesion where you had surgery. Better to have an exray and find out for sure. It looks like you might have sunburn. Hope all is well. WE LOVE YOU!!!! Mom and Dad

It's not a sunburn mom. I don't go out in the sun.
I didn't go anywhere or do anything yesterday, it's just hurting really bad. And the black and blue isn't showing up in the pic, but it's there.

Ouch! That makes my back tingle just to look at it; I know it's painful!

I'm sorry Kat. Hopefully they can help you tomorrow!

It is hard to see the black and blue in the image but I can see that it's inflamed. I hope it's not anything serious. Take care.

Sending healthy vibes your way.

I can definitely see why you feel the way you do. I hope it's nothing serious. Maybe our weather is aggitating your back. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Yes that is definitely inflamed. I can only imagine how painful it is.

Good luck with the x-rays and take care of yourself. x

I can't imagine what would cause your incision site to look like that so long after surgery. I am very curious to know what it is. I hope it resolves itself soon.

oh no! give us an update as soon as you know something!!
