Each person posts the rules before their list, then they list 8 things about themselves. At the end of the post, that person tags and links to 8 other people and then visits those peoples’ sites and comments letting them know that they have been tagged, and to come read the post, so they know what they have to do.
I've done the 8 things meme several times now, so I figured I'd do it a little differently this time.
Instead of just 8 random facts, I figured I'd give you 8 random strange things about me.
Well, to me they are not strange, they just are, but people I've told them to call me weird, odd, strange, and look at me like I'm absolutely bonkers.
1. I do not like large groups of people unless music is involved. (ie, concerts, nightclubs etc)
2. I do not like being outdoors. At all. The sun bothers me, the heat, the wind, rain, bugs, lots of stuff. Give me a nice quiet, dark room, and I'm in pure bliss.
3. I am anally OCD about almost everything. Chairs, silverware, pens, lots of stuff.
4. I get bored very easily. I have to have constant mental stimulation. I have to be reading, or listening, or doing something at all times. I will get bored and irritated if nothing is going on.
5. I prefer to watch people do things rather than take part in them.
6. I cannot stand karaoke because most people who do it, cannot sing to save their lives. Even when just having fun, I hear every single wrong note, key, beat and tempo. It makes me angry.
7. I am honest to a fault. Being honest has made me more enemies than friends. People cannot stand that about me.
8. I prefer to be absolutely alone. I do not like going places and doing things, unless it is going to be a ton of fun. I'd rather stay home all the time than go somewhere and be bored.
So there ya go, 8 things.
I'm not tagging anyone because this meme has gone around the block more times than a hooker on payday.

Wow! You sound like a real treat to be around! LOL just kidding. I think you are too hard on yourself. Your kids look pretty normal to have such a recluse for a mom!

After reading your 8 things, I'm kind of wondering how you are going to handle BlogWorld and PostieCon! All those PEOPLE, wanting you to take part in things! I'll just stand in front of you and shield you, mmkay? lololol
I am also number 2, number 4, number 6, and quite a lot of the time, number 8. Which should make it very interesting for us to be roommates at PostieCon! We'll just sit together in a dark room and blog, yes? Oh Kat, you are one-of-a-kind. Which is why I awarded you a Rockin' Girl Blogger award! The post is almost up, I came by to get your URL and couldn't resist leaving a comment first.

LOL! I'll be alright in Vegas because it's well, Vegas! There will be things to do, see and play around with. I'm sure when we catch a show, I'll have an awesome time. I love that kind of stuff.
I will not do karaoke. I don't care if Ted offers me $1,000, I won't do it. hahaha
I want to take a laptop with me or maybe rent one to use while there. That way, when I can't sleep at night, I can blog from the nice, dark hotel room while you catch up on sleep. hahaha

I am a kick ass person once people get to know me. I may be a recluse, but I'm honest, I'm a great friend, I give awesome advice, I know how to have fun in the best ways and places to party etc.
But most people find honesty to be a drawback in a person and that is the truth.
I'm not a true recluse, but I get bored easily so I don't waste my time going and doing things which will bore me.
