Gloves in a bottle testing.

This is my left elbow.
It has this dark patch of wicked dry, itchy skin.
It looks icky.

I received a full size sample bottle in the mail yesterday. It's a shielding lotion, it helps protect your skin from outside irritants.

"A shielding lotion is far superior for treating dry, itchy skin because it bonds with the outer layer of the skin and replaces the protective barrier, keeping the irritants out and your own natural oils and moisture in," explains Dr. Helton.

"Shielding lotions don't wash or rub off," agrees Dr. Zogg. "Because a shielding lotion stays on and protects the skin it's a very effective treatment for the dry skin conditions we see here in the winter months."

"Severe dry skin conditions need to be treated with prescription medication for the inflammation along with a lotion to moisturize and help heal the skin. With a shielding lotion we find that the skin heals much faster, so the patient needs less medication," says Dr. Helton.

I get dry skin in the summer here, not winter, so this came at a great time for me to try out.
So I'll be testing Gloves in a Bottle out on my elbow and my feet.
My feet, ugh, they are so dried and cracked out right now because it's summer, I don't wear socks and sneakers, just sandals. The heat, the flippy floppy shoes, yeah, my feet are a mess.

I have rubbed it on and the first thing I noticed is that it's not greasy like regular lotions at all. I had this all over my hands, and I rubbed it on both arms and both feet, rubbed it all in, did not wipe my hands on anything or feel a need to wash it off.
I am typing on my keyboard and using my trackball mouse and there's no greasy residue.
That rocks.

Second, it has a very subtle and pleasant fragrance. It's not perfumy, barely noticeable, so it can be used with perfumes and there will be no fragrance interference at all.

Third, my skin feels super soft and silky.
I like it so far.

The testimonial fliers that came in the box said that within a day or two, the users noticed dramatic improvement using it only one time a day, at night before bed.
So this is what I'm going to do.
It's on my dry elbows and dry feet right now, I'll do it again tomorrow night, and I'll report back my findings on Thursday.
But really, so far, my skin feels really good, especially my feet.
They are not sore from being so dried out and cracked.
Know that feeling?
I hate that feeling.

I take all my pics in my bathroom because it has the best light in the house.
I'm not some sort of bathroom freak.
I swear.

I got a full size bottle of Skin M.D. shielding lotion in the mail, and I really liked it. I haven't seen Glove in a Bottle-I hope it clears up your poor elbow!

I need some of that for my feet, like, NOW.

I never wear shoes or socks.

My poor feet hate me.
