I blame them.
I blame Aerosmith and Run DMC for that rap/rock collab, because while it was wicked cool, it has started this nasty downward spiral of rockers and rappers attempting to make bridges or some shit.
Hello?
We don't want your bridges, we don't want to hold hands and rap kum-by-ah with any of you grill wearin', need a fucking belt, rappers.
This version of Arms Race, makes me want to hunt down all the rappers and weld their grills to their jaws and then closed, so they can't ever fucking do this shit again.
Seriously, someone kick Kanye in the nuts for me.
Hard.

...need to dig out those steel-toed shoes I used to wear when I worked in restaurant kitchens...
Seriously, I could only take about two seconds of that before I had to turn it off. I HATE rap!
As for Aerosmith, I know that we Bostonians are supposed to bow down and worship at the altar of Steven Tyler & company. But sorry, I lost all respect for them after they did that "Walk This Way" rap shit. I used to like that song, too.

Okay, that is absolutely the WORST rock/rap collab I've ever heard. By far.

I am pretty sure that if I kicked Kanye in the nuts his posse would take me down...

Rap sucks. One of the suckiest things about a sucky genre is that half the time they have to rip off an actual musician. The classic example is Vanilla Ice ripping off Under Pressure by Queen and Bowie. It's criminal. And don't even talk to me about Gwen Stiffani ripping off Fiddler on the Roof a couple of years ago. What the heck?
Anyway, I'll cut my rant short. I hope someday rock is the dominate music again.
Good luck with Blogathon.
