Step 1 in reclaiming my carport.

She finally left the house, so the plans to take back my carport have begun.
For the record, I asked her really nicely one more time to move her vehicle, to park it straight.
She glared at me.
So, the take back my carport plans have gone into effect.
I have taken our basketball hoop, and laid it down dead center line of the property division.
This should prevent her from parking all freaking crooked on my half.
If she hits it with her pos van, and moves it out of the way, step two will go into effect the next time she moves her van.
I have a whole summer of fun filled things lined up in order to get my property back.
I have to get it back.
Mark is getting his license this August, he's getting a car. He needs to be able to park it under our carport because they have two vehicles, and Mark is going to need that room on our side, to back out of the long driveway.
We need our half to be able to get in and out of our side anyway.
It sucks when it rains and I have to unload our groceries from the cab out in the rain.
Every single cabbie says something when they pull in. The landlord says something when he comes over.
People cannot understand why she parks like that, so consider this parking training.
If I had orange cones, they'd be out there.
Park between the lines bitch.

We have had assholes like that around here, too, who either take up part of our parking space when we're gone, or just outright steal it. Lucky for us, our landladies live upstairs, and they are fast to come out and ream the offender a new asshole. It's hard to get people to listen to us, because we don't own the property. But they do listen when one of the landladies comes out and makes them move.
They have actually had people's cars towed for parking on the property. They take no shit from no one. As a result, parking space stealing has gone WAY down...no one's done it in a long time. People here are starting to realize that it is NOT a good idea!
Good luck in getting your carport back!

I live in the boonies, always have, we had to do something to have fun...lol....I used to have a few of them lying about...I swear...but no more...alas, I grew up...somewhat...lol

Oh man, if I lived near you, I would come over and write "Park between the lines, bitch" in chalk on the driveway.
By the way, I tagged you on Table for Five :)

Hahah, that's genius! Just too bad you had to resort to that.

If that happened in my neighborhood, she'd have been towed out of the carport ages ago. I think she'll get the message, though.
