John Couey gets death penalty.
John Couey, the animal that murdered 9 year old Jessica Lunsford in 2005, gets the death penalty.
The only other sentence Couey could have received was life in prison. The Miami jury that convicted Couey of Lunsford's murder also recommended death by lethal injection, but under Florida law, judges make the final decision as to what the sentence should be.Couey is a monster, he kept that girl, tortured her, and murdered her. He deserves the death penalty. It's a shame we don't use old sparky anymore, lethal injection is far too peaceful of a way for this nasty pedophile to go out.

Let's just hope he doesn't stay on death row for ages! I agree with you he should get the chair instead of the HUMANE injection he should also be castrated with NO pain killers!

I'm glad you posted on this. Do you think that everyone in Florida agrees with his sentence? I can't imagine anyone thinking this guy does not deserve to die for his crimes, but then again, there are always jerks out there that want to do away with the death penalty.
Btw, is it me, or does this creep look jaundiced, as if he has some sort of hepatitis? Lets hope so, so he dies that much faster and saves the taxpayers of Florida the cost of the lethal injection.

I wish we had the death penalty here in Massachusetts. There've been enough pervos around here who certainly deserve it. Yet many of our local politicians feel that we can't kill the poor widdle cwiminals, now, can we?
I say, FUCK YES! Scumbags like this Couey guy are far beyond rehabilitation, and there's no point in keeping them alive. I wish they still had the chair, too, just so the skeeve can suffer before he dies.

My Personal opinion, wish they torture him like he did that poor innocent girl. Seems to be the only way to get thru to him and to have him feel the pain he put her thru. Then again, when someone is that heartless....they won't feel a thing.

Ick! Poor little girl! I am glad that monster is getting stuck. But, like you said, it's a shame he can't ride the lightning instead.
