Betty Crocker Warm Delights.

My mom has been sending me grocery coupons almost every week now, and in the last batch, she sent me a coupon for $1.00 off Betty Crocker Warm Delight Minis.
Publix was selling the little 2 bowl packs for $1.50, and I had the buck off, so I figured if they sucked, I had only spent .50 cents.
I hate wasting money on stuff, so this was not a bad bargain for two tiny bowls of Molten Chocolate cakes.

In the package you get two tiny little bowls with dry powdered cake mix, and a small package of fudge.
You mix the cake mix with 1 tablespoon, and 1 teaspoon of hot water, till well mixed, then squeeze the fudge over the top of it.
Then, microwave for 30 seconds.
This is how they turn out.

And this is Sebastian about to taste it.

He was like "OMG! Mom! Taste this!"
So I tasted it, and much to my surprise, it actually tasted like real cake, and it was good.
The cake was moist and fluffy, it had a rich chocolate flavor, and the warm fudge had melted into a sauce almost like a lava cake.
It was excellent!
The size is actually perfect for the single person, kids, or if you're on a diet.
It's just enough cake to give you the flavor, without having a whole cake sitting in your fridge beckoning to your thighs.
They say when you're on a diet, you shouldn't completely deprive yourself of the foods you love to eat, so if chocolate cake is one of your fave sweets, it is truly the perfect size to give you the food you crave while on your diet, but small enough to not make a huge dent in all your progress.
It's only 150 calories, and they come in 3 flavors, Molten Chocolate Cake, Molten Caramel Cake and Chocolate Raspberry Decadence.

YUM! I almost never buy cakes or mixes, but sometimes I get an overwhelming urge for brownies.

Not to be unappetizing but when I first looked at the picture of your son holding that over his knee, BEFORE I read the entry and say it was supposed to be a cake... I thought for a moment it was a big magnifying glass and he was showing up a closeup of a skinned knee or something. The first text I say was something about him getting ready to eat it... GROSS! Now, even though I read deeper in and realized it's a yummy cake... I can't get that image out of my head! LOL!

Mmm, that looks delicious. I wonder if these taste similar to the Molten Lava Chocolate ones from Omaha Steaks. Those are delicious! Pop 'em in the microwave for 70 seconds and instant treat!

I buy these all the time! They are excellent quick comfort food when you've had a bad day.
