Corset training revisited.
Every now and then I get this wild hair to do corset training. I absolutely love the look of tight lacing.
Anyway, while doing a google search for traditional bone in corsets for a few hours, (it's much harder than you think to find traditional corsets) I came across a site and landed on a page with items like a crotchless panty, sexy costumes, padded panties and other such items.
They do sell corsets, (that's how I landed there) but they don't make them personal for each woman.
I am looking for a traditional corset maker, one who takes your measurements, and the measurements you'd like to get down to, and then makes your first training corset.
What is tight lacing you may be wondering?
It's when a woman wears a corset tightly laced, for 12-14 hours a day, 7 days per week.
Over a period of time, the body adapts to the shape of the corset, and the waist becomes smaller.
Now I hated my back brace, but that was because it came up under my armpits, it was hard plastic and had to be worn over my clothes.
A training corset is worn under the clothes.
This is tight lacing, and I find it so beautiful.

You'd better get one of those so we can see you in it.
LOL! I just know you would rock one of those. In black, of course.

I've never worn a corset, but I have a lot of bodices and love the back support they give me & the way they make almost any body type look beautiful. There's a website somewhere that gives directions for measuring yourself and making a pattern, I bet if you went to that & printed it, you could go to a seamstress & have one made.

I've looked locally, even called a few tailors and seamstress places, and no one in the area knows how to make a traditional corset. They all gave me places to buy the lingerie type corsets, which as you may know, do not offer any type of support or change your body. They just give the look of tight waisting.

It is beautiful to look at but I see it as soooo unrealistic.
